Emus Squad Announced

Basketball Australia announced the Under 19 squad to attend the Emus camp being held at the AIS Canberra from 27 – 30 August that includes an unprecedented ten athletes from New South Wales in the seventeen player squad. Eight of the players selected have represented NSW Metro at the last two Under 18 national championships and all have won Gold Medals. New South Wales players selected are Mirko Djeric (Bankstown) Nicholas Duncan (Manly) Darcy Harding (Moruya) Fabijan Krslovic ( Norths) Jack Lopez (Bankstown) Gerard Martin (Manly) Laurence Mifsud (Bathurst) Emmett Naar (Norths) Michael Rowley (Norths) Dougal Weir (Norths). The camp is part of the final selection for the team to represent Australia at the Under 19 FIBA Oceania Qualifying series against New Zealand to be held in Wellington, NZ from 20 – 22 September, 2012.
