Australia’s Silent Film Festival proudly presents

the Australian Premiere of the restored digital presentation of

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (1925)

This fabulous all-time classic starring silent film legend, Lon Chaney as the phantom, features great attention to details, including early colour footage of the ball scene! Love and horror combine with action and excitement in this superior version of the 1910 French novel, now better than ever!

Live musical accompaniment by the acclaimed theatre organist, David Bailey, on the mighty Christie theatre organ. Date: Thursday, August 23 at 6:30pm Venue: The Wesley Theatre, 220 Pitt Street, Sydney

Australia’s Silent Film Festival proudly presents this treasure of early cinema with the Wesley Mission and Theatre Organ Society of Australia (NSW Division) Inc. as a fundraiser in aid of mobile services to support disadvantaged youth in Sydney.
