Lindfield Bookshop and The Constant Reader, Crows Nest, supported by Willoughby City Library, will present a special Meet the Author evening with Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer, from 6pm, Wednesday 25 July, at the Theatre on The Concourse.

What happens when an imaginative schoolgirl calls her mother, an internationally successful novelist, with a great idea for a book? If you are Jodi Picoult, you listen, discuss, plan and agree to write the book together. Taking two years to complete, Between the Lines is a beautiful fairy tale for Young Adults.

Jodi Picoult has written 18 bestselling novels, including The Pact, My Sister’s Keeper, and her most recent, Lone Wolf. This, and a selection of her earlier novels, will be available for purchase and signing on the night. Samantha van Leer is a junior in high school, who enjoys playing softball, doing contemporary dance, acting, singing, and playing with her two dogs.
