Great play All The Rage at Old Fitz Wooloomooloo

Went to see the opening night of All The Rage at the Old Fitzroy Hotel Theatre in Wooloomooloo on Tuesday. Wow, how do you write about violence and make it a comedy? Clever script by John A.D Fraser about the resurgence of the IRA for the London Olympics.

The cast give very strong performances and manage to hold the tension with the comedy, which isnt easy.

There's a hard ex commander 'Skin-the Goat'who is after revenge with his bumbling apprentice Boyle on the traitor aptly named 'The Baker'.

Of course the content could be any of the violent movements around the world right now, but the humour wouldn't work as it does with the Irish.

All The Rage is certainly my favourite show for 2012.
