The review revealed; there are serious risks with the Bourke Rd separated bike path in Alexandria, including hazards at:
Driveways, traffic going in going out
Raised kerb separators, bike accidents
Low lying tree branches can hit bikers
Intersections, trucks & buses going in & out
Surrounds around trees uneven height
Brick walls along the cycleway route
Bus shelter advertising blocks vision
Hidden pedestrian footpaths
Narrow pedestrian paths a danger
Uneven bikeway surface
Bus shelters block vision
Sandbags left in cycleway gutters
Electricity power poles to close to bike path
Separator concrete medians
Dangerous poles near bikers
