Video Game Design and Development Introduction
Video games have exceeded music, film and all other forms of entertainment put together - it is the largest part of the entertainment sector around the world. Game principles and new applications are also going to play a key role in the future of education, workplace training and multiplatform entertainment. This part time practical short course is designed for artists, producers and anyone interested in creating interactive digital media as a standalone project, or as part of a larger multiplatform project. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the many different platforms, rich history, diverse markets and genres with a solid grasp and the foundation skills needed to design, plan and develop a video game project.
Starts 21st June
Accreditation: Upon successful completion participants will receive a Statement of Attainment from the Certificate VI in Screen and Media for one unit of competency; BSBDES403A ‘Develop and extend design skills and practice’.
