Bestselling author Joanne Fedler will speak about her latest novel, The Reunion at Talks@Willoughby, 1pm, Thursday 17 May, Northbridge Library, 258 Sailors Bay Road, Northbridge.

You never know what can happen when a group of women reunite for a weekend away, leaving behind husbands, kids and chores...

Picking up where Secret Mothers' Business left off, The Reunion is an insightful novel about a group of women who are facing the challenge of their changing bodies, fading dreams, and raising tweens in a world of Facebook, MSN-ing and constant ‘connection’. Hilarious and thought-provoking, The Reunion explores what happens to women as their children mature and their own friendships evolve, in which no taboo is spared.

Joanne Fedler’s novels When Hungry, Eat; Secret Mothers' Business and The Dreamcloth have been published in the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Croatia and South Africa, and have sold over 350,000 copies worldwide. An author, motivational speaker, and life-writing teacher, Joanne also helps raise money for abused women, breast cancer research, post-natal depression and children with special needs.

Lindfield Bookshop will provide copies of the book for purchase at the talk. Bookings are essential for Talks@Willoughby, visit willoughby.nsw.gov.au/Library/ or phone 9777 7900.
