Motorists are advised to exercise extreme care this morning due to heavy rain and localised flooding that is impacting Sydney this morning.
Leppington - Camden Valley Way at Cowpasture Road - Closed both directions. (Police are onsite at this location directing traffic).
Hills Area - Various roads and causeways have been affected by localised flooding.
Rouse Hill - Rouse Road at the Causeway - Closed in both directions.
Shanes Park - Stony Creek Road at the Causeway - Closed in both directions.
Audley Weir - Audley Road at Sir Bertrams Stevens Drive - closed in both directions.
Heathcote - Heathcote Road closed in both directions between Princes Highway and New Illawarra Road.
Chipping Norton - Newbridge Road at Governor Macquarie Drive - (There is no access to Governor Macquarie Drive from Newbridge Road due to flooding).
Oxfords Falls - Oxford Falls Road - NOW OPEN
There are also numerous reports of water over the road effecting roads all across Sydney.
Further road closures may have been put in place in local council areas.
Localised power failures are affecting traffic signals in North Parramatta and Penrith.
With more heavy rain expected to hit Sydney over the next several hours, motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution, expect delays around the network and allow additional travel time.
Additionally, Public transport services may also experience scattered delays due to wet weather.
