The concert’s family-friendly line-up starts with an Ice Age 4 encounter when the wacky and loveable goofball Sid and the nutty as ever Scrat perform live on stage (tip: meet them at 7pm).
“Parramatta is well known for putting on a rocking show to commemorate Australia Day celebrations and I am really looking forward to performing along with my band at Parramatta Park for the very first time. Parramatta Park will make for the perfect summer night’s setting,” Tim Freedman said.
There will even be a chance to meet Thirsty Merc and Tim Freedman on the night for the winners of the best Australia Day outfit.
Concert Program:

Celebrations will conclude with the Australia Day fireworks finale at 9pm.
The Dig 1100 Concert will live stream at mobile.ausdayparramatta.com.au on all smart phones.
Plan your day ahead and get to the Parramatta Australia Day free Dig 1100 Concert early to avoid disappointment as there are limited spaces. Once the event is at full capacity, for safety reasons, you will not be able to gain entry.
And don't forget Australia Day 2012 will be car free in Parramatta Park, so public transport is the best option and for safety reasons it's also a glass free event.
