Chinese Step Up in ACBA Tournament

The second night of action in the Australian Chinese Basketball Association (ACBA) international tournament took place on Thursday night at the Auburn Basketball Stadium.

A compilation Sydney Kings Youth team had a crushing 87-63 win over Tianjin Polytechnique University and the Parramatta Wildcats had an equally impressive 93-47 win over Beijing University.

This was the first game respectively for both Chinese teams, which had only just arrived in Australia on Tuesday night and were obviously still feeling some jet lag from the trip.

Thursday night's action would see a vast improvement from each of the two Chinese teams, with Tianjin Polytechnique University scoring a strong 81-64 win over the Northern Suburbs Bears and Beijin University grabbing an even bigger 75-54 win over the Blacktown Storm.
