Immortalise our beautiful waterways, entries open for Penrith's Water Week Photography Competition

Penrith City Mayor Greg Davies said all you need to do is get out there and have some fun capturing images of our iconic waterways.
“Open to all ages, this competition’s a great incentive to grab a camera and head outdoors to immortalise our beautiful waterways. You could score great prizes including photographic gift vouchers and a double pass to our ever-popular Olympics venue - Penrith Whitewater Stadium.
“This year’s theme is ‘Water in Penrith: Catchment Health, Nature’s Wealth’. Get your entries in quickly, as the competition closes on October 20,” Councillor Davies said.
Participants can enter one of three categories to win the following prizes:
• Open Category (ages 18+): $500 photographic gift voucher and a double pass to Penrith Whitewater Stadium valued at $178.
• Ages 12-18: $250 photographic gift voucher and a double pass to Penrith Whitewater Stadium valued at $178.
• Under 12 years: $250 photographic gift voucher.
