Get involved: Join the Earth Relay
The need to reduce carbon emissions in Australia has been an important and challenging environmental issue. The Clean Energy Legislative Package is a step in the right direction. To show support for the legislation as it goes through Parliament, environmental groups across Australia have responded with the 2011 Earth Relay. As part of the 2011 Earth Relay, environmental groups from each state and territory will be relaying giant inflatable globes across Australia to eventually end up in Canberra at the Greenpeace Climate Rescue Station.
