“With local entertainers, plenty of food, children’s rides and activities, this is designed to be a fun day for all the family. To top it off we have a fireworks display on the Saturday night,” says Harry Hunt, President of Liverpool Chamber.
Stalls will be available for $200 for individuals and groups to showcase and sell food items on the weekend. Other features of the weekend include, wine tasting, cooking demonstrations, barista competitions and lots more. There is also a stage area is available for local community entertainers.
“We have over 176 different cultures represented in Liverpool. This is a great opportunity to showcase the “World in One City”. We are offering stalls at minimal prices to cover costs, we want this to be a successful event and to help boost tourism in Liverpool,” says Daniel Mangion, Secretary of Liverpool Chamber.
A Hospitality and Careers Expo will also be held across the two days so if you are interested in a career in the Hospitality Industry or just want to know more, it’s a great opportunities to meet people in the industry and get some career advice.

Good on you Liverpool!! and Liverpool Council!! I am so looking forward to this!! Especially if Liverpool puts its diversity on show through its food!! There are so so many nationalities in Liverpool. Not one suburb compares. This area is the essence of Multiculturism and the way the world should be. Make us proud all of you considering putting a stall. Its time to show how interesting and diverse this area is. Bring the world to our doorstep. Now maybe we can have an Arts Festival near the Powerhouse.. in line with the Bundeena Festival. I need some nice pictures on my walls:) and the ghosts of past festival considering we have Bunker and now Powerhouse. If not this Halloween Next Halloween.

Hey Dara, we're pretty excited too. It's been a long time coming. Really think that this kind of event can get the community excited enough to participate either via a stall or attending; either way we plan on having this each year with more cool things to come between each Food & Wine Festival. We're always happy at Chamber or via Liverpool Bites to receive suggestions, feedback, ideas etc.
