Community invited to attend William Crews funeral
St Andrews Cathedral
“I know how this response has touched William’s family. While the pain of his departure is immeasurable, his memory will endure and we have all witnessed an extraordinary outpouring of community spirit and support,” said Commissioner Scipione
“The NSW Police family will be joined by senior police from across Australia at Thursday’s service but I do want to acknowledge the generosity of the people of NSW. Accordingly I do want to make it clear to all who wish to offer their condolences that they are welcome on Thursday morning," said Scipione
The funeral service will be followed by a Police procession along George St.
St Andrews Cathedral is located on the corners of Bathurst and George St, next to Town Hall.
There is a parking station in the St Andrew's House Car Park, behind the Cathedral at 474 Kent Street. (02) 9265 1698. But parking is limited here so public transport is recommended.
The Cathedral is very close to Town Hall Station. Once at Town Hall Station, take the lift to George Street or the stairs from Town Hall Arcade to Sydney Square.
