Police are toady launching a public appeal for assistance following two robberies involving the use of a stun gun.

One of the victims, a 75-year-old man, will also address the media.

On May 20, a 75-year-old club employee was allegedly assaulted when a man armed with a stun gun device, jumped the bar and ransacked a cash register before fleeing with a sum of money.

In a second incident a 20-year-old female Australia Post employee was also allegedly assaulted with a stun gun device during a robbery at Yagoona last week.

Bankstown detectives are today releasing CCTV footage and stills of a man they wish to interview in relation to both these incidents.
