The cultural and political history of the Uruguayan Community who have migrated to Sydney from the 1970's up to the present day is documented in this photographic exhibition.

This project was curated by the Uruguayan Consultative Committee of Sydney, one of many social committees established worldwide and independent of the Uruguayan government. They aim to recognise the contributions and achievements of Uruguayans who live abroad.

Official opening Friday 9th April 7pm

This exhibition was on display at the University of Western Sydney (13 November - 11 December 2009) in the Margot Hardy Gallery located within the Foyer of Building 23 at the UWS Bankstown Campus.
