Goodbye Jamie Boyd is a collaborative and creative journey between Monkey Baa Theatre Company and Buzz Dance Theatre. This powerful one-woman theatre show incorporates spoken text, multi media and dance tackling themes of youth mental health, self-identity and acceptance. This work was created to challenge and inform it’s audience, but most of all by bringing awareness to these still very taboo subjects, it will open many dialogues to stop the suffering, embarrassment, fear, isolation of so many young people with these and similar issues and give the courage to reach out, before it is too late.
This is a gut-wrenchingly beautiful piece of theatre, stunningly portrayed by Gemma Yates-Round with powerful sound and visual effects.
