In Jurassic times, the Velociraptor was small but mighty, attacking it’s prey with enlarged claws on the back of each foot. Today, Velociraptor is a 12-piece band from Brisbane who attack their prey by singing their audiences heads off and attacking them with their claws of garage pop rock and loose, dreamy fun times! Velociraptor is the kind of band you wish you and your friends had started back in the day, except these guys actually got it together…and more importantly, they sound effing good! But that’s the vibe Velociraptor generates- every gig turns into one glorious, dreamy party of goodness and the audience is left feeling like they’re in the band! Also generating the fun times on the night is Palms, a handful of larrikin boys who are cheeky as hell and very, very catchy. And locals Family to start the fire.
