Standard Business Listings are free. All you have to do is register as a Business Member, provide all the details about your business as requested. Your listing, once submitted successfully, will then go into the Business Directory.
Standard listings in the StreetCorner Business Directory listings are free and available to all local businesses. If your business is already in the directory (we've tried to get some business out there already) there is a form in the Business Directory Listings section that you can use to ask us to add you as the business owner or administrator. We will then set you up as the member responsible for the listing using the member name and login we provide you, and you can start posting on other areas of the site.
You can only have one business listing in the directory per membership at this stage.
The following information will be displayed in your standard listing:
- Business Name
- Business Category/ Subcategory
- Business Address
- Business summary (200 characters)
- Business website
- Business contact number
- Business Hours
- Google map and streetview
- Images
- Extended business summary
A sponsored listing allows prime position for your business at the top of the page that corresponds with your business category. Allow users to see your ad first when they are trying to find a business in a particular category. This increases your chances of users choosing your business.
You can hold a premium and a sponsored listing concurrently, however, these will need to be purchased in separate transactions. Follow the prompts to add a premium listing and a sponsored listing.
You can increase your popularity by getting all your customers to write reviews on your business. Your rating (out of 5 stars) and the amount of reviews you have will help your ranking when users search on 'popularity'.
Classified ads are free for StreetCorner members who want to use the StreetCorner Classifieds to advertise to buy or sell personal items or services (for example: used cars, merchandise or baby-sitting services); there's a $10 charge for adding a picture to an ad. If you are in the business of selling items or offering services, you must purchase a classified ad for $28 dollars per month. You can renew your ad by paying the monthly fee at any time. Simply register and ensure you are logged in to StreetCorner. Then, go to 'Post' page and follow the prompts and fill out your form. If you are experiencing any difficulties, please send us an email at contactus@streetcorner.com.au
Your ad will stay up for one month only. When your ad is due to expire, you will be reminded and will have the option of renewing it. If you are a business member and would like to renew your classified ad, you will be required to purchase another month for $28.
